1. Download any movie/Web Series without torrent or third party app

    a. Go to google

    b. Type index of "movie or series name"

        For example, if you want to download silicon valley, type index of silicon valley

 

 

    c. There will probably be a lot of links in the search results. Look for a website that looks         like this:

2. Increase download speeds

At some point in time, we all must have been frustrated from the download completion eta times. Here is a legit trick that you can try to almost double your download speed from chrome.

    a. Open chrome.

    b. In the search bar, type chrome://flags

 

 

    c. This will open a new experimental features page. Within this page, type "parallel downloading" in the search bar.

 

 

    d. All you have to do next is enable parallel downloading and then relaunch chrome.                Good luck.

3. Access files on a device even if the gallery and/or file manager are locked

This one's for the android users. Well, well, we all must admit that we at least once earnestly desired to sneak through someone's gallery or file manager. While this is not much a penetration testing(aka hacking) tip, it will surely help you get some impressions.

    a. First of all, you need chrome for this trick to work. Proceed to read only if chrome is unlocked in the device.

    b. In the chrome search bar, type file:///sdcard/

 

 

    c. You will then be greeted by a directory that contains a list of files and folders in the device, even if the gallery or file manager is locked. Enjoy. XD

 

4. Access blocked websites without VPN or RDP

Sometimes, installing a VPN app or configuring a proxy connection each time you surf the web may be very frustrating. Follow the mentioned steps to access any blocked website without any third-party VPN app:

    a. Visit the Google Translate page.

    b. In the "enter text to be translated" section, enter the name of the website as shown(the full domain name)

 

 

    c. In the translated section, click on the website link. You will be redirected to the website within google translate. Now you can access every feature of the original website.

5. Make your phone feel faster

While this is not bound to work on all devices or meant to tweak the hardware capabilities of your smartphone, it will surely make your phone feel smoother.

    a. Turn on developer options from settings. You can do so by going to the About device section and tapping the build number numerous times. 

    b. You will receive a floating notification saying "You are now a developer".

    c. Then head to the developer options and scroll to find "Window animation scale".

 

 

    d. Change all the values of "Window animation scale", "Transition animation scale" and            "Animator duration scale" to 0.5x.

 

 

    What this does is reduce the time your phone takes to complete animations, which can make your device feel smoother, especially if you have a high-end device.

6. Bypass "login to view content" popup

Numerous sites such as meritnation, brainly, etc. require to first login or create an account to access their website's content. Well, why work hard when a simple script can get the job done.

    Just add "?share=1"(of course without the inverted commas) at the end of the website URL and you'll be all set. Note that this doesn't work with all websites.

Bonus Tip: Ever shouted at those irritating YouTube ads. As soon as your video starts to play, skip to the end of the video, and then start playing over. This will eliminate all other ads, so the maximum number of ads you have to watch for a video remains 1.
